Aug 29, 2023 : The Inauguration Program of the Inter-Ward Sports Fusion by ICYM Bondel Unit featured Fr. Peter Gonsalves (ICYM Director), Fr. Paul Sebastian (Chief Guest), John Dsilva (Vice President of Parish Council), Zeena Cornelio (Animator), Bianca (ICYM President), Murel (Secretary), Loyd (Sports Secretary), Praveen Sir and Yogesh Sir (Referees), and Alrick Dsilva (Master of Ceremony). The event commenced on August 26th at 3.30 pm, with Fr. Paul Sebastian addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of unity, sportsmanship, and healthy competition in fostering a sense of community. His words, along with the presence of the other dignitaries, added fervor to the event, setting the stage for spirited competitions ahead.

The event included different sports that brought participants from different areas together to show their skills and work as a team. The mix of table tennis, chess, and carrom allowed everyone to choose what they were best at. This made the event exciting and brought everyone closer. It was a great way to start the Inter-Ward Sports Fusion, where sports and community came together.
The Inter-Ward Sports Fusion by ICYM Bondel Unit concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony on August 27th. The event featured Fr. Peter Gonsalves (ICYM Director), Fr. Lancy (Chief Guest), Santosh Misquith (Parish Council Secretary), Zeena Cornelio (Animator), Bianca (ICYM President), Murel (Secretary), and Loyd (Sports Secretary). Aston D'Souza (ICYM City Denary President) and Ashlin D'Souza (ICYM City Denary Secretary) were also present. Fr. Lancy addressed the gathering, highlighting teamwork and sportsmanship. The ceremony honored exceptional performances across various sports categories, with Alrick Dsilva as the Master of Ceremony. This finale encapsulated not just achievements, but also the sense of community nurtured by ICYM Bondel Unit.
