Feb 22 : The ICYM Bondel unit organized a fun badminton tournament at the Global Badminton Arena in Vamanjoor on February 18, 2024. The event brought together people from Bondel Parish for a day of friendly competition and sportsmanship.
The opening ceremony started at 11 a.m. with a prayer, and Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, the Parish Priest, gave a speech wishing everyone good luck. Mr. Surjith was the referee, overseeing the 12 men's teams and 3 women's teams who took part.

The tournament included men's and women's doubles matches, and here are the results:
Men’s Doubles:
- Winners: Calvin and Stephen
- Runners-up: Fr. Peter and Gration
Women’s Doubles:
- Winners: Joylin and Lanuwin
- Runners-up: Sunitha and Sweedal
Loyd, the ICYM Sports Secretary, thanked everyone who helped make the event a success. The tournament not only showcased skills but also brought the Bondel community together for a day of sports and friendship. It was a memorable and enjoyable event for all.
