Aug 19 : ICYM St Paul Eastern Deanery Puttur in collaboration with ICYM Kokkada unit celebrated 75th Independence day by planting saplings and distributing saplings to the school children at St John's Higher Primary School, Kokkada. Rev Fr Jagadish Pinto, correspondent of the school, Mr Lawrence pais, guest and Mrs Jacintha D'souza, Headmistress of the school inaugurated the program by planting the saplings. Mr Sushanth Fernandes the nominated member of ICYM Mangalore Diocese distributed the saplings to the school children.

Ms Wilma Viyola Lobo, President of ICYM Puttur Deanery welcomed the gathering. Youth of Puttur deanery, children of St John's Higher Primary School, teaching staff and parents were present for the program.
