Aug 23 : The ICYM unit of St. Anthony's church Bannur celebrated Youth Day on 21st of August 2022. ICYM members were present in the mass at 9:00am.

Parish priest Fr. Prashant Fernandes ,the director of ICYM Bannur unit and Fr. Francis Rosario celebrated holy eucharist. Liturgy was conducted by ICYM members and at last the President of ICYM unit Stalin Gonsalves proposed vote of thanks.

After the holy eucharist celebration, ICYM members distributed sweets to all the parishioners followed by planting the saplings under the theme "Laudato Si".

ICYM Bannur unit visited the sick in the parish under the theme, "Visiting the Sick - a step towards Jesus' Mission". As per the Bible quote , "They anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them”, ICYM members also shared the joy and happiness with the sick. The ICYM members along with their director Fr. Prashant Fernandes, conducted a small prayer service and gave them useful things.

There were 15 members present on this occasion. ICYM President Stalin Gonsalves , Secretary Dionna Menezes , Vice president Anthony Mascarenhas and Rechal D'Souza  and all members were present during the visit.
