Sep 12 : "Teachers are our very precious gifts"

To honour and felicitate teachers, ICYM Kadaba unit organized Teachers Day Celebration on 9th September 2018 after the mass.

Rev Fr Ronald Lobo - Parish Priest and ICYM Unit Director, Mr Louis Mascarenhas - Vice President and Mrs. Jecintha Veigas – Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Joseph Veigas ICYM Co-ordinator, Mr Frayal Cross - President ICYM Kadaba Unit were the dignitaries on the dais. Mr Anish Lobo ICYM Diocesan Joint Secretary, Mr James Crisal Dsouza President ICYM Puttur Deanery and all the parishioners were present for this programme.

Mr Frayal Cross, President ICYM Kadaba Unit welcomed the gathering. Ms Reshma Dsouza read out the names of the teachers. Rev Fr Ronald Lobo honoured 13 teachers with gifts as a token of gratitude. On behalf of all the teachers, Mrs Gracy Pinto expressed her experience as a teacher. Rev Fr Ronald Lobo addressed the gathering by highlighting teacher’s contribution in building the nation.

Ms Cristal Cross proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with ICYM Anthem. Ms Anitha Veigas compered the programme.
