Aug 19, 2017: Members of ICYM Kokkada Unit celebrated the Feast of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary and 71st Indian Independence Day on 15th August 2017. A small programme was held in the Church premises. Chief Guest of the programme were Fr. Frederic Monteiro, as well as Fr. Stany Monteiro, Vice President of Parish Council Mrs. Alice Dsouza, Secretary of Parish Council Lawrence Pais, ICYM President Lancy Dsouza, ICYM Kokkada unit Animator Mr. John Monteiro.
Fr. Fredrik Monteiro hoisted the National Flag and gave message on this auspicious day. Sweets were distributed to the parishioners. All the members of ICYM Kokkada visited the sick people of the parish on the same day and spent some time with them.
