In order to empower the Youth of the Parish, the Indian Catholic Youth Movement Unit of Sacred Heart of Maril Church had conducted a training programme for the youngsters of the parish in effective communication specially in raising the toast for the various celebrations, to give Obituary, to face Interviews, and other various fields of Communications.
Classes were conducted by the Prof. J. B. Sequiera, the Professor of St. Philomena College Puttur for about a one and half Month from July 16th to August 28th, 2014.
The programme was inaugurated by the Vice president of the Church, Prof Edwin D’ Souza on 16th July 2014. It was concluded on 28th August, 2014 with a formal function inviting the parishioners and the parents of the trainees. It was an effective programme as expressed by all the participants. The whole responsibility was taken up by the ICYM, Unit, Maril.
