Nov 21 : On the occasion of Children's Day, ICYM Nellyadi unit along with Youth commission and Catholic Sabha Nellyadi unit, under the guidance of Rev.Fr.Vincent D Souza and ICYM Animator Sr.Saritha D souza, organized Children's Day programme on 19th November, 2023 at Infant Jesus Church, Nellyadi.
The programme commenced with a prayer song. Ashwitha D Souza was the MC for the formal stage programme.ICYM President Praveen D Souza welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Vincent D Souza, Sr.Saritha D Souza - Animator, Thomas D Souza-Vice president of Parish pastoral council, Nishmitha D souza- Secretary of Parish pastoral council, Victor Strella- 21 commissions' coordinator, Preetham D Souza - Catholic Sabha President, & Praveen D Souza- ICYM President were the dignitaries on the dais.

All the catechism & school teachers of the Parish were honoured for their service by the parish priest. Preetham D souza proposed vote of thanks and concluded the formal stage programme.
Later on Nishmitha D Souza hosted the programme. Around 33 children took part in this programme.They were divided into three groups and ICYM & Catholic Sabha members conducted various games and action songs & entertained the children. All the children took an active part and at the end of the day children were rewarded with prizes & gifts.
Breakfast, Lunch & evening snacks were provided to everyone gathered.The childrens Day programme concluded at 4:00p.m.
All the ICYM & Catholic Sabha members co-operated very well in order to make this programme a great success.
