Aug 31 : National Youth Commission of The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) observed and celebrated National Youth Sunday across India on 8th August 2021 with the theme "Stand up, I appoint you as a witness of what you have seen." (Acts 26:16)

To mark this auspicious celebration, all the youth of Mangalore Diocese joined hands and celebrated the National Youth Sunday all over the Diocese. Youth conducted Sunday Liturgy along with the activities like Vanamahotsava, Shramadhan, Yuvamilan, Blood Donation, distribution of grocery to the needy, Bus stop cleaning, distribution and planting of saplings - Green Drive and Friendship Day. In their own small way, deanery units and parish youth bore witness to Christ in serving society and making this day more meaningful.
