Aug 13 : YOUCAT stands for the faith of the Catholic Church: vividly explained, innovatively presented, and officially confirmed. Indian Catholic Youth Movement Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore organized a session on YOUCAT for the young leaders of ICYM Central Council on 6th August 2022 at Olivet House Jeppu. Rev. Fr Vijay Machado, the Director of Mangala Jyothi Publication, Mangalore was the resource person of the day. He spoke on the importance of catechism, the faith of the Catholic Church and the information that the church desires us to know in a way that’s more understandable for young people.
Mr Terrence Lavy Crasta - Vice President ICYM Karnataka Region welcomed the speaker, Mr Melston Wilfred Noronha - Treasurer proposed the vote of thanks and Mr Anil John Sequeira – Diocesan ICYM President gave a memento as a token of gratitude to the speaker.

Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza - the Diocesan Director of ICYM, Mr Anil John Sequeira - Diocesan President, Ms Nishal Preemal D’Souza- General Secretary and all the Diocesan executive committee members as well as Central Council members were present for the programme.
