Glowing Tributes to the Angel of Mercy

Sept 3, 2016: On the auspicious occasion of the Canonization of Mother Theresa of Kolkata, the ICYM youth of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar organized a public honor to the Angel of Mercy in the Madanthyar town on 3rd September.
At the outset, meaningful prayer service was conducted by Rev. Fr. Jerome Dsouza, who in his reflection highlighted the noble qualities of Mother Theresa and threw light on her Mission and Vision towards the welfare of the down trodden, marginalized and the oppressed.
Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church Madantyar along with other priests offered floral tributes to the mounted flex of Mother Theresa and the Parishioners as a mark of respect to the Angel of Mercy lighted the candles by praising and thanking God.
The beautiful and memorable ceremony was witnessed by more than 600 people. The Choir sang the beautiful hymns in honor of the noble saint seeking her powerful intercession. Mr. Rohan Lewis compered the programme.
