Aug 29 : For the first time in the history of Omzoor parish ‘gadhya khel’ was organized for the parishioners on 27th of August2023.

ICYM Animator Mr. Elroy Saldanha welcomed the gathering. ICYM President Ria D’souza symbolically welcomed the guests with shawls. Rev Fr Alwyn D’cunha, Parish priest of Omzoor inaugurated the program.

Gracing the dais were Mr.Christopher Saldanha, Elderly person of the parish; Mr. Arther D’souza, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Committee; Mrs. Dafney Lewis, Secretary of PPC; Mr. Nihaan Sequeira, ICYM president Bantwal Deanery; Mr. Elroy Saldanha, ICYM Animator; Br.Rajath Lobo, Mr. Preetham D’souza, Catholic Sabha President; Ms.Ria D’souza ICYM President.

The event began with the treasure hunt. Games like Reverse race, Pipe race, Couple games, tug of war and other 17 games were conducted.

All the parishioners actively took part in this event. The event was instrumental in bringing the parishioners together.

Rev Fr Alwyn D’cunha, Parish priest, Br.Rajath Lobo, Mr. Manoj Vas ,Co-sponsor of the event were present for the concluding ceremony. Prizes were given away to the winners during the concluding ceremony.

Ms. Tenisha Pinto thanked everyone for their support. Program was compered by Jenisha Lewis, Cultural and liturgical secretary ,ICYM Omzoor.
