Trees are the foremost source for producing oxygen in the environment and helps to reduce the level of CO2. As we all know, the environment is facing destructive problems through global warming, in order to recover from destructive problems, plantation of saplings is must and has become one of the most important aspects in our day to day life.

With the initiative of planting saplings, ICYM Maniyampare Unit celebrated Laudato Si on Sunday, 14th July 2019 at the premises of St. Lawrence Church, Maniyampare. The programme was presided and inaugurated by Rev. Fr Paul Dsouza – Director, ICYM Maniyampare unit. The youths of ICYM Maniyampare unit planted various types of saplings in the church premises.

All the youth had an awesome experience filled with happiness and felt proud to work hand in hand positively towards the nature.
