Aug 1 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Vamadapadav unit conducted ‘Yuva-Sahamilan 2k22’ for the Youths of Vamadapadav Parish on 31st July 2022 at 9:30AM in Infant Jesus Church Hall.

ICYM Vamadapadav Director Rev Fr.Leo Veigas, Asst Director Br Santhosh Menezes, Resource Person Rev Fr Arun Lobo, Parish Council Vice President Ambrose Walder, Parish Council SecretaryMark Pinto, ICYM Mangalore Diocese Immediate Past Secretary Vishma Dcunha Cascia, ICYM Vamadapadav Animator Richard Dsouza, ICYM Moodbidri Deanery Vice President Aman Cutinha Gantalkatte, ICYM Vamadapadav President Sushma Menezes, Secretary Milton Pinto were present on the dais.

Programme started with a prayer song led by YCS members. Programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. ICYM Vamadapadav Vice President Lenson Moras introduced the Resource Person Rev Fr. Arun Lobo to the gathering.

Ambrose Walder and Fr. Leo Veigas encouraged the youth to effectively utilise the ICYM platform and grab the opportunities to become successful in life. Vishma Dcunha Cascia spoke on the occasion and advised more youths to join ICYM. Also she emphasised the youths to make balance between their studies and extra curricular activities.

The Resource Person of the programme Fr. Arun Lobo spoke on the topic of ‘Youth Relationship’. He emphasised the youth to effectively use social media without being addicted to it. He described how should be the relations of the Youth with their Parents, Friends etc.

After the session various entertainment activities and group activities were conducted by ICYM Deanery council and DEXCO members. ICYM Moodabidri Deanery Director Fr. Prem Prakash Cutinha was also present.

The programme concluded with ICYM theme song. Breakfast and lunch was served. Around 50 Youths participated enthusiastically. The programme ended with Baila Dance.

ICYM Vamadapadav President Sushma Menezes welcomed the gathering. ICYM Lady Vice President Flevita Sequeira rendered vote of thanks. ICYM Joint Secretary Jenisha Veigas compered the programme.
