Sep 17 : ICYM Bajjodi took the initiative to celebrate the 75th Independence day at Infant Mary Church ground, Bajjodi at 8:00 am. Chief Guest Fr. Rayan , Parish Priest Fr. Ivan Dsouza, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Patrick Lobo, Parish Council Vice President Prakash Saldanha & Secretary Irene Pinto were the dignitaries.
ICYM Bajjodi unit President Joswin Pinto welcomed the gathering. Cadet Riyana Pinto led Fr Rayan to hoist the flag. The Parish Council Vice president and the Secretary accompanied the guest of honour to hoist the flag. In this manner, the flag was hoisted and the National Anthem was sung in order to pay respects to the country. Fr Rayan gave a message pertaining to Independence day. ICYM members sang a patriotic song.

Rishel Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks. Sweets were distributed and thus the programme was concluded.
