Nov 22 : ICYM Bajjodi unit celebrated "Annual day" , a celebration of six years of youthful togetherness on the occasion of the year of youth on Sunday 17th November, 2019 at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi.

The celebration began with the Eucharistic Celebration at 9.15am. Fr. Joseph Cyril D'Souza was the main celebrant along with Fr. Ivan D'souza Parish Priest and Fr. Patrick Lobo.The liturgy and choir were lead by the youth, followed by a youth get-together where various fun filled games organised by Deepak Albuquerque- ICYM Animator and Sr. Roopa - coordinator. The youth involved themselves in all the games with full zeal and enthusiasm . As a token of love momentos were distributed to all the youths by Sr. Roopa.

Stage program began at 6.00pm by invoking Gods blessings through a prayer dance by Seema and group. Pranitha Pinto- President ICYM bajjodi unit escorted the guests to the Dais and welcomed the gathering.

Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza- Assistant Director Icym mangalore diocese were chief guest of the programme, addressed the gathering on how the youth serve as a strong foundation in the church community and appreciated the dedication of youth towards betterment of the church. Fr. Deep Fernandes - guest of honour and Fr. Ivan D'souza congratulated all the youth for their enthusiasm, team spirit and active involvement and motivated them with wonderful words of wisdom. Former youth members of ICYM Bajjodi were honoured with a token of appreciation for their dedicated service in ICYM . Heethal Pereira - secretary ICYM bajjodi unit presented the annual report. The sponsors of the programme were presented with a memento as a token of gratitude.

The cultural programme was compered by Keerthan . It was indeed the power of youth bringing out their talents through dances , skits , funny dance, songs and mando. Asuntha Fernandes compered the stage programme and Ms. Rishal Renjal, the convenor of the programme delivered the vote of thanks. The program concluded at 9 pm with ICYM Anthem followed by baila .
