ICYM Unit of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Maril Church had begun the second session of training in Master of Ceremony, toast raising, obituary speech and other public communication skills to the elders of the community on 22 September 2014 at 5.00pm. 16 members of the parish have started their training and interested to learn and improve their skills in communication. The Parish Priest, Vice President and Secretary of the parish Council were present for the inauguration. President of the ICYM, Mr. Santhosh Thoras welcomed the gathering and Parish Priest addressed the trainees. The training shall be conducted by Prof. J. B. Sequiera, the lecturer of St. Philomena College Puttur. It shall be for about 2 months and classes will be in the evenings 5pm to 7pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s.
