ICYM Puttur Unit organized a session on Rain Water Harvesting on Sunday, 14th July at Mai De Deus Church Hall, Puttur. The programme commenced with a prayer service at 9.30 am. Dimple Tauro - Lady Vice President, ICYM Puttur unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. V. Rev Fr Alfred J Pinto - Parish Priest presided and inaugurated the programme along with Rev. Fr Larry Pinto - Assistant Parish Priest Mai De Deus Church, Puttur, Mr. J.P Rodrigues - Vice President, Puttur parish pastoral council, Ranjedra Kalbavi - Resource person of the session. Udhay – Press Reporter, Udayavani were the dignitaries of the programme.

V. Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto spoke a few words by giving his blessings and praised ICYM president and his team members for organizing a wonderful programme. Rev. Fr Larry Pinto introduced Ranjedra Kalbavi and he took over the session on rain water harvesting, how to save and what kind of steps or procedure need to be taken in order to save water. A total of 150 parishioners were present for the session. Laveena – Secretary, ICYM Puttur unit rendered the vote of thanks and Lianna Rodrigues – Public Relations Officer, ICYM Puttur unit compered the programme.
