I.C.Y.M Puttur unit on occasion of Independence day on 15 th of August, 2015 gave a visit and distributed 15 bags of rice to poor people of St Theresa, Rotarypura and Santyar Ward of Mai de deus church Puttur. Then ICYM members spent time with children of St.Theresa and Rotarypura ward. There were around 20 children in the program. ICYM member Prakash Sequiera conducted games for the children. Fr. Santhosh D’souza Asst.Parish priest of Mai de deus church Puttur gave learning to the children about personality development. The program was held under the guidance of Mrs.Asha Rebello monitor of ICYM Puttur. More than 15 ICYM members were present for the program. Thus ICYM Puttur unit celebrated the feast of Assumption of Mother Mary and Independence Day meaningfully.
