On august 2nd 2015 Puttur ICYM and Santyar ward of Mai De Deus church jointly organized vanamahotsava program at Santyar. Program was started at 2 pm. Mai de deus church asst. Fr Santhosh D'souza, church vice president Mr. Joe D'Souza, Aryapu gramapanchayat president Mrs Geetha Kumari, Aryapu gramapanchayat member Mr.Ganesh Rai, Santyar ward gurkar Mr.Sunil Feliex D’souza, ward representative Mr.Paul D’souza and ICYM president Ms.Jesna Menezes inaugurated the program by planting the saplings. We planted total 130 plants. Members of Santyar ward and ICYM members worked hard. Mangalore Diocese Joint Secretary Roshel Mascarenhas and Around 50 people including 35 ICYM members were present . The program was a great success.
