Dec 19 : Christmas is a season of joy, of giving and sharing, of laughter and coming together with family and friends. It was surely a day to remember when ICYM Mangalore Diocese celebrated Christmas with the inmates of White Doves Care Home, Kulshekar on 18th December 2022. Youth engaged themselves in singing carols, sharing joy and also in creating good memories.

Rev  Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza-Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, Ms Corrin Rasquinha - Founder and Director White Doves Mangalore, Anil John Sequiera - President ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Joshua D'Souza - ICYM Cordel unit President, Nisha D'Souza - City Deanery President were present on the dais.

Corrin Rasquinha appreciated the youth for taking up this initiative and  joining with them for celebrating joy with the most needy people. In continuation Fr Ashwin Cardoza said not to lose hope in life,  though we lose hope we should seek help from others to restore that hope.

ICYM members of the Cordel unit brought joy and smiles on the faces of people gathered there, by singing Christmas Carols. As a special attraction Santa Clause wished everyone gathered. Members of ICYM taught action songs to the inmates. Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu  blessed and wished everyone for their future mission and the programme concluded with a prayer.

Anil John Sequiera welcomed the gathering, Fr Ashwin Cardoza invoked God’s blessings, Jaison Crasta delivered the vote of thanks and Winston Sequeira compered the programme.
